Kumasi: Police allegedly fire live bullets into rioting students

At least twelve students are reported to have passed out following clashes with the police at the Islamic Senior High school.

The students, according to reports, were embarking on a protest to register their displeasure over the absence of speed rumps around their Bohyen-based campus.

Reports state some students have in the past been hit by speeding vehicles plying the Abrepo junction – Bohyen road.

Police allegedly fired live bullets to disperse students of the School in Kumasi.

3 news reports that some parents have stormed the school top pick their children, bringing academic activities to a halt.

About 20 of the students have been reportedly rushed to the hospital.
